Q: Where are you from and what got you into music?
A: I’m from Oakland California, my step father got meh into music at the age of two and music had a way to play with my everyday life.
Q: So, you are the oldest out of four boys. How was it growing up in your household? How did that play a part in your music?
A: Yes I’m the oldest Out of four growing up people used to get me and my lil brother confused they still do. So me and him go by twins. Growing up was rough without having guidance music plays a huge part of my life. It’s something I’m truly passionate about and I can actually tell my story. People will get to know who I am and what I stand for.
Q: You lost your cousin when you were 15 years old. Can you speak about him, that situation and explain to us your outlook on the world dealing with such a heavy situation at such an early age?
A: My cousin was only 16. He was full of life November 30, 2005 my whole world changed at this point of my life. I have never lost someone close to me that part of my life stills traumatize me. With me being so young I didn’t have no one to turn to everyone was on the same page. So I wanted to take a different route and live my life such as I’m living for him. He loved to dance, and rap. He had a great since of humor. I stopped dancing because they took the person who actually made me look at dancing taking my problems away. But this Broke me down and it still do .
Q: We had the opportunity to hear several tracks with “All My Life “and “Passion” being our favorite. How did you produce these concepts? Which songs would you recommend to listeners?
A: All my life is a lil story about me and how things was for me. My father been facing time since he’s was 19 no bond. He put his life on the line. If you wanna get to know me and actually know me and my life. I will tell u a little about me.
Q: You’re getting to know your father being that he was incarcerated most of your life. How is it getting to know him as a man as opposed to when you were a boy? What advice would you give to someone in this same situation?
A: It’s a blessing to hear from him, to talk to him. I didn’t know he cared about me nor my brother for real because all the negative things that we was told. But to me, he deserve to be here with us. To see how strong of a man I am. He felt as if I hated him, or he’s not important. I’m telling you and the world he’s my dog for real. We can’t get back time we lost but I can give him the time I have left on this earth.
Q: You started a clothing line. What got you into fashion and can you tell us about your brand?
A: NGB Is Never Going Back Entertainment. I’ll never forget where I came from and where I’m heading. I chose the name because such as Never looking back. I’m only going forward so never Going Back. I got into fashion a year ago. It’s the brand that’s going to mean something in 5 to 10 years from my music.
Q: Who have you worked with so far and who would you like to work with in the future?
A: I haven’t worked with any big names as of right now but I’m willing to work with Kevin Gates, Fredo Bang, Polo G, OMB Peezy and Campaign Papa.
Q: What are your long-term goals with fashion and music?
A: My goal with my music is to keep going being more consistent dropping more visual. Giving the people this raw uncut hits. When it comes to my fashion I want to build some that won’t be broken and having a team of loyal people.

A: Bape, Jordan, and Dior
Q: What are some things you want fans to take from listening to your songs?
A: When you hear my music, know it’s real it’s me telling you about me. To know me is, to love me.
